RXF Group: “We already have some international events outside or Portugal in our portfolio”
Less than five months after the launch of an integrated streaming platform, what assessment can be made? RXF's CEO, Pedro Miguel Ramos, responds.
The feedback they have received so far from clients "is very good." "We are developing solutions that touch on various areas, and that is seen as an advantage. RXF positions itself as a company that can offer a broader and therefore more interesting solution," says Pedro Miguel Ramos.
One of the advantages has been the existence of two complementary areas within the Group. "Our main area is audiovisual, closely supported by IT and content production. Let's say that it was the integration of these three strengths that brought us speed in development. By March, we were already prepared with a streaming platform, only possible with the contribution of IT. And in May, with the support of audiovisual and content production, we opened our Studio 1."
The importance of content
The entire event format is being rethought for the digital or hybrid world, and content is of paramount importance. "The need to captivate the audience requires not only excellent communication but also the way it is presented. At the moment, we are even virtualizing scenarios and creating 3D models of stands for exhibitions," explains the CEO.
This trend of hybrid events seems to be here to stay, and Pedro Miguel Ramos assures that the advantages "are numerous." However, "there is a need to create differentiated digital models from the physical ones. The hybrid event is a major challenge and must be worked on in these two completely different aspects. Because everyone is still learning, there is still a temptation to transpose physical events to digital ones in exactly the same way, something that in my opinion is totally wrong and counterproductive."
And, as with all crises, new opportunities arise. "We already have some international events outside of Portugal in our pipeline, which we will manage technically from our offices. This paves the way for RXF to sell IT services for events abroad in the very near future, just as we sell audiovisual solutions," concludes Pedro Miguel Ramos.
