RXF celebrates 15 years of ‘never say never’
RXF, an event industry company that offers audiovisual services, content production, and information technologies, celebrated 15 years of activity at the Sheraton Lisboa with the screening of the promotional film 'Never'.
Pedro Miguel Ramos, founder and CEO of RXF, stated that the concept of this 15-year celebration is "never", which he describes as a "statement, a statement of ours, and also celebrates our film, which is a promotional film, shot in June with actress Margarida Serrano, and which has its premiere today."
"It's just a minute and a half promo, but all about the word 'never', about what, in a way, is our life in events," explained the CEO and founder of RXF, who also directed this short film, with text by Sérgio Costa.
"Above all, 'never' symbolizes doing things differently. We have never been comfortable just providing audiovisual services, as we have always been involved in content production. We have also never been solely a content production company because we had information technology, so it has a lot to do with our history and 'never' encompasses all of that," concluded Pedro Miguel Ramos.
Regarding plans for the future, Pedro Miguel Ramos explained that the goal is to strengthen the company's three areas of activity, "not only in information technology, where we are very focused on platforms and solutions for events. Content production has two ancillary areas, not under the RXF name, a production company, Até Que Enfim, which produced 'Falta de Chá' for SIC Radical, and we have NEEW [New Edge Events & Weddings] only for the non-corporate market, such as weddings, baptisms, private parties, and so on. The core will be to work on these two ancillary brands in the near future," he emphasized.
The creation of these two brands, NEEW and Até Que Enfim, arose to differentiate different service spectra and not confuse customers, Pedro Miguel Ramos added. "RXF is very focused on audiovisual, corporate events, and events related to health," while "NEEW operates in a completely different way" and "Até Que Enfim is a pure fiction producer," he explained. Despite being different brands, they collaborate with each other and share resources.
Regarding the choice of location to celebrate the anniversary, the CEO and founder of the company stated that "it made perfect sense to me to celebrate 15 years at the same place where Sheraton celebrated 50," adding that the hotel has been a partner since 2008 and they have carried out a video-mapping project earlier this year.
The event, which took place in the Panorama room at the Sheraton Lisbon, featured the premiere of the promotional film 'Nunca' and highlights such as a pianist with a transparent piano, hors d'oeuvres created and served in the hands of guests, an ice cream bicycle that transported fresh wine, an oyster booth, and an unusual wall covered in vegetation with a bell with a simple instruction 'Ring for Drink' from which four hands with white gloves holding glasses with different beverages emerged.
In addition to having an exhibition at the event space, photographer Paulo Bagulho was also celebrated for his 50 years coinciding with RXF's.
